December 31 - The New Year's Eve..

The End is Nigh..
The End of the year is approaching..

It seems like we have just entered the 2008, and now we have to leave it for 2009. Time flies fast. There are people who still have some unfinished businesses in 2008, and rush to finish it while the year has not closed yet. There are those who feel really hopeful, as well as excited, about the upcoming year, and hope that all their wishes will come true and they can do their best during the period of time.

I feel that this year serves as my stepping stone for the future, on one hand because of my going overseas to continue my studies, and for the reason that I could view the perspective of the world from a totally different point of view, on the other hand. Being in America for almost a year, I realize that the differences in culture are there, and they cannot be ignored. So, the best way for me to do here is to simply adapt myself to the change and try to judge the value it carries.

As the time goes on, this year will be the memento of my life, which cannot be easily forgotten. It will become the yardstick for my improvement in the future...

I hope that I could finish my semester successfully next year so that my GPA will raise again (really looking forward for this one).
I hope I can be a better person, both physically and spiritually, in the upcoming year so that I could comfort those around me..
I hope my parents, my relatives, and friends will be blessed for the year to come so that they could have their best..

Hope all of you have a Happy New Year.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 30 - The Countdown Begins..

What a day..
Thanks God for today..

Today seems to be a little bit busier than yesterday, maybe because the end of the year is coming and people want to finish their job for the time being in a rapid manner. This also sparks the spirit inside, just in time when I need it.

Although I did not have much to do today, I simply enjoy the atmosphere, which cannot be found on holiday occasions. I went to the post office to mail something out and visited a comic book store, simply to check if there are any new graphic novels I have not read there. :P

What does not miss my attention is the number of crowds that keeps increasing, especially during this year's end period. This will certainly pack up the Times Square for the New Year's Eve celebration -- GUARANTEED 100%. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in the previous post, I cannot attend the event because of having class the day after New Year.

I get another life lesson today, that is NEVER PROCRASTINATE. That will cost you a lot; time, energy, and worse still, your future; and, not to mention the damage it will do to others around you. People will likely favor you more if you can do something instantaneously and never postpone doing it.

Hope you all have a nice day..

Cheers,
Zee.

December 29 - Monday Again..

The first day of working..
The first day of payroll (for some)..
Yes yes yes, Monday is here, and New Year is around the corner (Yay!!)..

Today was quite exhausting, from the morning till the evening, without belittling the fact that I felt exhausted all day because I have a problem with my sleep. People does their usual activities, so the streets as well as the public transportation look more crowded than usual. However, that's a good thing, which I prefer to being so quiet.

Talking about the issue of my sleep, recently, I slept when the midnight approached, at 11-12 p.m. or even at 1 a.m. This is simply not a small problem, remembering that next semester I have to take an 8 a.m. class. I hope I could get over this easily by sleeping earlier now and then. Hope it works..

The activity for today was pretty simple. I went to the library to return some stuffs I borrowed weeks ago, and paid a visit to my grandma. Nothing more. I don't feel like to explore the city today; I don't have the spirit to do that for today. Maybe tomorrow, I'll consider it. But, one thing for sure is I'll go out on New Year's day, not the eve since I have class on the 2nd, to snap pictures of the scene at Times Square. XD

Hope you all have a nice day.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 28 - NFL Time

The holy day is comin' !!!

I cannot wait for today to come, mainly because I want to feel the thrill, which I have experienced last week when the Giants defeated the Panthers for Home Field Advantage, watching those NFL folks playing. I almost forgot about that feeling, since it's been a long time I have not watched soccer matches, which usually pump my adrenaline out...

And, today was simply tiring because I went out to Chinatown to take a stroll and later visited the electronic store located quite far from the previous location.

Okay, it seems that I have nothing to say more. I hope you guys enjoy the weekend.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 27 - Finally, Saturday's Coming

Yay !! It's weekend now.

Finally, I have something to distract me for a while. Well, maybe vacuuming the whole upper floor is not a bad idea, since it also means that I have to, still, tidy up my room a little bit (left over from last night :D).

So, now I suggest that cleaning up my own room is not a bad idea at all. At the very least, I could know how to make use of every space my room has. Moreover, I believe that keeping myself busy is also not a bad idea at all, since....yeah, you know, I cannot make good use out of the spare time I have.

It's also a quite tiring day, since I need to accompany my aunt to the grocery store to stockpile the fridge for the coming week. But, yeah, I feel quite grateful for today, either because it's weekend or something else.

I hope everybody enjoy their weekend.

Have a nice weekend, folks.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 26 - Christmas Aftermath

The day after Christmas, the day where people get busy again. Yet, I'm still having nothing to do; have nothing to occupy myself fully. So, I just do my usual activities and wander around like a fool.

I feel really spirit-less these days. It's like really boring since I have nothing to do. Facing computer all day is also not so healthy for eyes. Logging in and out from social networking sites have been done a lot lately, just to distract me from the boredom.

Guess I need to tidy up my room, rather than doing nothing..

Hoam..

Have a nice day everybody.

Cheers,
Zee

December 25 - Christmas Time

Yes, it's December 25.
Yes, it's Christmas Day.

Wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

Even though people seem to enjoy it, I simply do not; not so much. I don't know why I have this feeling of a boring holiday (without any means to belittle Xmas). Today is simply too quiet, even I was the only passenger on the bus and subways were not crowded, which I should have been thankful for. It's like a dead city; so little people go out, which I can assume that most are staying at home. So, most of my activities for today were just among visiting my grandma, reading novel, checking e-mail and social network sites, and making up my room.

Way too booooooooooring....

One lesson I can learn today is that I am NOT a good holiday person, in a sense that whenever I have a lot of spare time, I simply cannot just sit there watching time flows. That's for real. It's either I have to find something to do in the mean time or I will be done by that something. That's why, it sounds like an irony to people that I really hope holidays are passing by faster so that I could get back to my daily activities.

Another is that I am a cheap ignorant bastard. Yes, IGNORANT BASTARD. I don't know why I simply cannot lend a hand when people get busy; cannot help to do the chores, and need to be realized by others 'bout this. It's like I view it as a nickel-and-dime job. I hate this too much. It makes me looked like an anti-social person. Huff.. I hope I could change this bad habit so I could at least lessen the burden of others in my surroundings..

Hope I could fix this for the rest of my life. Survive or die.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 24 - The Day before Christmas

What a day..
What a wonderful day..
What a tiring day..
What a wet day.

The first day after finishing school is to HUNT; not the literal way, just looking for a beautiful scene and snap a picture out of it. Although it was raining almost all day long, my spirit is still high (I simply remember my high school slogan: "Keep the Spirit High" :D). In addition to that, since today is also the day before Christmas and wanting to feel the atmosphere around here, so I decided that I MUST and HAVE TO take the pictures of christmas trees across the city rather than sitting dull at home focusing on the computer screen for hours.

The biggest obstacle is maybe the weather. Yes, it's raining today, and yet, people still come out and skate in the park; people also take photos of Christmas trees; people visit place of public interest, like library or their preferable store; people do their daily activities. Moreover, there are still some leftovers of snow which has frozen since the day before yesterday and made the street become extremely slippery (Almost slip over, thanks to my balance to keep me on track).

So, first stop: BRYANT PARK
Here you go..

That's the one that I found at Bryant Park. A nice trees, though.

Next stop: ROCKEFELLER CENTER
Here you go..

This one is also a nice one, and I should say it's even taller than that at Bryant Park. What attracts people more is the uppermost of the tree. While the part of the tree at the park is made of cable and light, this one is made of diamond. Yes, diamond. As a result, the tree seems to be  really extravagant.

Since I don't celebrate Christmas, I am just be able to wish those who do a very Merry Christmas.

God Bless You all.

Happy Holidays.

Cheers,
Zee.

December 23, 2008 - NYC

Today, the last day for school.. Yeah !!

Everyone keeps busy preparing for their final exams in the final day of school, even though some do not need to come anymore because they have finished their tests earlier. Now, all they can do is to PRAY for their final grades which will directly determine their GPAs.. Yes, GPAs !! The bloody hell thing that has to be maintained high by all students.. The higher one can get, the better his achievement will be.. (So, can one get a 5.00 GPA out of 4.00 range ?? :P)

After today, I can FINALLY, FINALLY relax myself a little bit, at least for the upcoming holidays, even though the day after the New Year is the starting of my Winter Class (bless me, 4 months = 2 weeks)...

I'll continue later on. Need to study for the remaining two finals...
With the remaining might, came great score.. :D

Cheers,
Zee
